The Chip illustrations

Here are some illustrations I did for George Jack, creator of the superhero The Chip, who I've done work with before (please check out older posts showcasing the Chip). These illustrations show some of the Chip's villians, such as Strong Arms, Synergy and the evil Dr. Warren. To find out more about The Chip, check out this website.

Storyboards

http://www.nystoryboards.com/story/shamus/

Below are some storyboards I did for a company called McGuffin Films, who were hired to do an Olive Garden commercial (yeech...). They just wanted extreme close ups of the new dishes they're unveiling soon. They sure do love their cheese-pull shots.

Below are some different boards I did for a company called The Mill. This was for promotion of some proposed Russian tv network, I believe. This shows the different ways I could finish the boards, all in one job, from loose to highly rendered. The more finished looking ones towards the end had more frames, but I had forgot to keep files for myself from when I worked in the studio.

SCHMUCK

I did a short story with Seth Kushner, an amazing photographer who has taken portraits of celebrities and artists which have been published all over the place. He also loves comics and decided to do a short autobiographical series showcasing one man's neuroses in searching for love. Working with a myriad of artists, he asked if I could do one entitled The One, which is related to The Matrix. Please check out the website that he shares these stories at and also check out the other short stories to see the variations in art and style (this link is to the story I worked on): http://welcometotripcity.com
The website is also home to many other artists and storytellers and showcases a cross section of pop culture to personal stories.

Terminus Team-Up #2 Pencils

I did pencils for an issue of Terminus Team-Up, published by Terminus Media. Here are a few sample pages from the issue, a time traveling tale that fits in dinosaurs, Neanderthals, Pompeii and steampunk wrapped up in a story between a woman and man. These will be inked by Rich Perotta, an inker who has done work for a lot of comic publishers and will be colored. I'll post up more pages once the book is released. These are penciled on 11"x17" bristol board.

SYNERGY

These are illustrations of Synergy, a character I didn't design but was hired to illustrate. He's an adversary of CHIP: A 21st Century Superhero that I've done various illustrations for.

LARVAE VHS cover

Here's a fake mock up of a VHS cover made for a director friend and the movie he's planning to make. Take a look at the MOLD! movie poster I painted for him HERE. This was digitally painted in Adobe Photoshop and I used various scans of VHS covers I found at this amazing website called VHS Wasteland, check it out HERE.
