Zombie Elvis!

Here's a Zombie illustration I did for a friend. I drew the original with pencil, ink, pen&brush, and Prismacolor markers. I finished it off in Photoshop to add all that digital color goodness, num num num!

Jazmin Mock Up

Here's an example of my recent attempts at drawing digitally using Photoshop. I worked entirely on the computer for this piece, using my Wacom tablet as a digital "brush" to "ink" the image. I also wanted to personally try my hand at lettering on the computer too, using Adobe Illustrator. I've never done this before and I'm happy with the results. I had no plans for this piece, just that I wanted to showcase my character Jazmin, who fights zombies in the far future. It looks like a page from a story, but I just wanted to invoke the mood I'd like to use in a possible full Jazmin story. My next step is to color this using Photoshop... 

DC Universe Online

Hello people!

I just wanted to tell you that I've had some work with the DC Universe Online video game and that it was an awesome good time that I hope gamers the world over will enjoy. I did storyboards and production art (fixing inks and colors, doing backgrounds, and overall being a badass) for 25 of the "cinematics" they have in the game. They're really similar to motion comics, being that we didn't take an existing comic book and made it move, instead we built them from the ground up to be animated. You'll have to play the game to fully enjoy the context of them within the story but you can find a few on Youtube. I loved drawing these out for fun (and to give as gifts for friends) I used Photoshop and my Wacom tablet.

Growing Up with Video Games colored

Here's a colored version of a strip I did in college. I wanted to mess around in Photoshop and get my coloring skills going. Here's the inked version: Growing Up With Video Games inks

Here's a black and white version of the colors. I like to look at my colors in grayscale to make sure that their is good contrast. That way, an image can "pop" more, and they'll be a better sense of depth to the image.

Self Portrait

Here's a self-portrait I did using a Wacom tablet and Adobe Photoshop. I've been sharpening my digital skills and feel confident in possibly doing more work on the computer. I've always stood by the traditional tools but have come to appreciate the digital ones as well.

The Chip: A 21st Century superhero!

Hello, peeps! Here are two special pieces I've done of The Chip and him battling his nefarious nemesis, Strong Arms! These were done in preparation for the upcoming 2010 New York ComicCon, where you can buy your very own colored prints at booth # 647. The table is being run by Mr. George Jack himself, the creator/writer of the The Chip comic book. Who knows, you might run into me as I'll be making the rounds and stopping by the table to promote my work. Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy the images!
